Kaya Jones

Kaya Jones. Kaya Jones (born Chrystal Neria,[1][2] August 28, 1984, Toronto, Canada)[3] (a Canadian-American dual citizen) is a singer, dancer and model. She was a member of the girl group Pussycat Dolls from 2003-2006. Jones left the group after recording the PCD album, to pursue modeling, and a solo musical career. She released her debut single, and music video, "Hollywood Doll" in July 2009, and contributed two songs to the upcoming 2009 movie American Pie Presents: Book of Love. As a teenager Jones was signed to a development deal by R. Kelly in 1999, and was signed as a punk rock artist to Capital Records in 2001. It was during her punk phase that she added "Jones" to her artist name, after it was suggested by Sex Pistol guitarist Steve Jones.[4] No music was officially released from either of these projects. In 2003 Jones attended an open audition to join the new Pussycat Dolls line-up, joining at the same time as Nicole Sherzinger and Melody Thornton.
